I haven't participated in an MFT sketch challenge in the last few months and I really missed it. It's been a very busy time between a death , work, surgery that I'm recuperating from and the general extra things that are thrown in there I just haven't had time. So with the fact that I'm recuperating I'm trying my best to be able to create cards and had some time to participate in the latest challenge.

MFT Sketch Challenge 247 and Color Challenge 30
I have been super busy on top of falling down the steps of my motor home and spraining my wrist. It had to be my right one so I missed the last couple of challenges.
Enough of that on with the card. I started with a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 piece of Neenah Solar White 80 lb card stock. I stamped it with the dot background by MFT in Lemon Chiffon ink. Using the MFT Pierced Rectangle Frame I cut a piece of Gum drop Green card stock. The butterflies were cut using the MFT Flutter Of Butterflies Die-namic in Tropical Teal. The tiny one is from the Hip Clips Die-namic . I used MFT Spearmint and the Hip Clips Die-namic to cut the clip out. I used this same color to cut two thin strip to go on my vellum banner which is embossed using Ranger Liquid Platinum. I assembled my card and attached my vellum banner using two rivets.

MFT Sketch Challenge 238
I wanted to incorporate the sketch and color challenge together. The colors are awsome. I decided to use Wplus9 Unforgettable as my stamp set. I stamped the elephants and the balloons in the MFT color challenge colors steel grey, limeligjt, jellybean green, ripe raspberry. Then I water colored them and fussy cut them out. I used the MFT stitched rectangle frame to cut the border around my sentiment piece. Took the leftover center part and stamped some stars in the various colors and samped a sentiment in steel grey. I decided to add some Martha Stewart glitter to my sentiment piece and the balloons. I cut my base from steel gray cardstock the background is limelight cardstock. I use my ripe raspberry ink pad to color the frame around my sentiments. The frame is mounted on fun foam and so are the elephants and balloons partially. I used some plastic line and colored it with the ink pad and then made it curl up on the ends with my heat tool for the string for my balloons

MFT Sketch Challenge 237
I love this sketch. I started with the plaid paper it is from DCWV baby boy stack. I thought the colors were awsome. I stamped some images from mft things with wings on watercolor paper using MFT's lost lagoon, orange zest , and green room dye inks to watercolor my images. The orange base card stock is from Stampin Up. I used blueprints 20 to cut out a piece of vellum that I colored with Copics to make my fish tail banner which I embossed with Ranger liquid platinum embossing powder. The button die is from blueprints 14. I hope you like the way this turned out as much as I do. Thanks for stopping by.

MFT Sketch Challenge 236
Looking at the sketch I saw the perfect opportunity to make a shaker card and use my circle sayings from SSS. The elephant is from Wplus9 Unforgettable. The polka dot cardstock was cut using MFT Blueprints 14 and the fishtail banner was cut using blueprints 16 then cut in half and placed on either side of the circle and cut with the circle to match. The frame for the shaker window was cut using the peek a boo Circle window die and a circle from Spellbinders. I use the same setup and cut two pieces of fun foam to create the frame for my shaker window. I use the circle from Spellbinders to cut a piece of acetate and then stamped it and white stays on with Simon Says Stamp circle sayings. my background piece was a piece of hot pink burlap cardstock. the sentiment is from wish big by Ellen Hutson. Thanks so much for stopping by.

MFT Sketch Challenge 235
Looking at this sketch the first thing that came to mind was a donut. So I pulled out my MFT Donuts and Sprinkles. First I created a donut with my SU 2 1/2" circle punch and 1 1/4" circle punch. Using my distress markers I designed it. I used my cross stitch circle stax and cut a piece of brown card stock to go behind the donut. The label and fish tail tag were cut using blueprints 13. I stamped my sentiment in mft chocolate fudge ink. Fun foam was used to pop up the donut, fishtail tag and label.

MFT Color Challenge 23
The colors for this challenge are wild wisteria, Lemon drop, razzle berry, and limelight. I started by die cutting limelight cardstock with MFT Tall Grass and the flowers from razzle berry, Lemon drop and wild wisteria. Thinking the girl with the dog from Birdie Browns You Have My Heart would look cute in the flowers, I colored her with copics and water colored her clothes with lemon drop and wild wisteria. Then I mounted them on a piece of Neenah White die cut using Blueprints 24. My sentiment is from MFT Totally Happy and stamped in razzle berry. I was trying to get more practice a using white space with this card. It was hard not putting sequins on it. Thanks for stopping in.

MFT Sketch Challenge 232
I wasn't sure what I was going to do for this sketch challenge. I had stamped some images to try the no line copic coloring, in between rounds drag racing, when it came to me. I decided the kittens from MFT's I Knead You set would be perfect. I chose a scalloped rectangle from MFT Blueprint 20 and cut my background paper. The three stitched circles were cut out of Stampin' up Tangerine Tango using Blueprints 18 and mounted on fun foam. I thought It would be cute to have real yarn run all over the card so I stamped the ball of yarn in Stampin' up Lost Lagoon and used a piece of yarn in the same color. My sentiment is stamped in Stampin' up Lost Lagoon on a piece of Neenah Solar white which was die cut using Blueprints 13. Thanks for stopping by come back soon.
